About these mazes
Each maze has a picture at the start and another at the finish, such as a butterfly looking for a flower. Kids draw the way through, then color both pictures.
Every maze has exactly one way through, and every corner of it can be reached. Easy mazes have wide paths for crayons, and hard mazes have narrow paths for a pencil.
They are free for personal and classroom use. Read the license.
Printing and playing tips
- Let younger kids trace the path with a finger first, then with a crayon.
- Print at 100% so the walls stay thick and easy to see.
- Slip a finished maze into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker to play it again.
Which ages they suit
Easy mazes such as the butterfly and flower maze suit ages 4 to 6, with wide paths for crayons.
Medium mazes such as the hot air balloon maze suit ages 6 to 8, with more turns.
Hard mazes such as the baby dinosaur maze suit ages 8 and up, with narrow paths and many dead ends.
