About these mazes

Connect hatchlings, grown dinosaurs and prehistoric reptile pictures through six routes, from wide paths to narrow challenges.

Each dinosaur route has a picture at both ends. Start with wide dinosaur paths, then try tighter mazes with more turns and dead ends.

They are free for personal and classroom use. Read the license.

Printing and playing tips

  • For a dinosaur maze, color the start and finish once you have checked the route.
  • Try a dinosaur route with a finger before using a pencil, especially at the first few junctions.
  • Download the dinosaur maze answers as a separate PDF so they stay out of the children's print stack.

Which grades they suit

K and grade 1 (ages 5-6): easy mazes such as the hatchling to family maze, with wide paths for crayons.

Grades 2 and 3 (ages 7-8): medium mazes such as the stegosaurus to volcano maze, with more turns.

Grade 4 and up (ages 9+): hard mazes such as the spinosaurus to skeleton maze, with narrow paths and many dead ends.
