About these mazes
Six animal journeys connect pets and wild creature pictures, with the simplest routes first and harder meetings farther down the page.
Each animal route has a picture at both ends. Start with wide animal paths, then try tighter mazes with more turns and dead ends.
They are free for personal and classroom use. Read the license.
Printing and playing tips
- For an animal maze, color the start and finish once you have checked the route.
- Try an animal route with a finger before using a pencil, especially at the first few junctions.
- Download the animal maze answers as a separate PDF so they stay out of the children's print stack.
Which grades they suit

Grades 2 and 3 (ages 7-8): medium mazes such as the lion to giraffe maze, with more turns.
